His plan would allow voters in counties under the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law (PTELL), the state’s property tax cap law, the ability to reduce their property taxes via referendum—something only voters in counties not subject to PTELL’s tax caps are allowed to do. Over 50 high schools students from across the 26th Senate District got a unique, hands-on learning experience about public policy, state government, and leadership during their experience at State Senator Dan McConchie’s (R-Hawthorn Woods) 3rd Annual Youth Advisory Council.
