Sen. McConchie says that ensuring every student in Illinois has the resources they need to receive a quality education is the greatest investment lawmakers can make. To meet that challenge, he has sponsored a new proposal, Senate Bill 1124, SFA3, which ensures no Illinois school district loses money and distributes new money more equitably to the poorest students in the state than any other proposal.
The introduction of this proposal is why he, along with some of his suburban Senate Republican colleagues, hosted a live interactive webinar for all regional school officials. That video can be viewed below.
