Calls on constituents to come forward to share voter registration stories
After Senate Republicans sent a letter to the Illinois Secretary of State addressing their concerns and demanding answers regarding an error that allowed non-citizens the ability to vote, several individuals have come forward to share their own experiences at DMV facilities.
Many of those who have shared information say they witnessed SOS employees tell individuals they could register to vote, even after being told they were not citizens.
