SPRINGFIELD- Senator Dan McConchie (R-Hawthorn Woods) released the following statement on the recent resignation announcement of the Director of the Department of Children and Family Services:
“Year after year, the Pritzker Administration has failed to protect our state’s most vulnerable children. The Director’s resignation will in no way make the agency’s systemic problems disappear. It’s well past time the Governor step up to reform this critical department so that our state’s children receive the desperate care and services they deserve and need.”
