In the wake of recent news articles outlining the abusive and disturbing use of so-called “isolation rooms” in schools across Illinois, Sen. McConchie sent a letter to his constituents outlining his concerns, updating them on the steps being taken to prevent this inappropriate activity from continuing, and asking for their help in providing his office with information on the use of these rooms.
