State Senator Dan McConchie is seeking high school students to participate in his annual Youth Advisory Council. Due to current circumstances, the 2020 fall event will take place virtually.
The event, which aims to connect young individuals with their legislators, allows students to gain exposure to the legislative process by hearing from a wide variety of speakers and by participating in a policy discussion with their peers.
Check out this video from last year’s Youth Advisory Council.
All high school students within the 26th Senate District are eligible to participate and must register by November 9 to Paige Ehrat at pehrat@sgop.ilga.gov.
